This Code of Ethics reflects and guides the conduct of all staff, positions, volunteers and members of the Board of Directors (regular, executive, honorary and otherwise), of Aytzim (Green Zionist Alliance, Inc.).
EnvironmentAytzim will do whatever it can to reduce its carbon footprint and minimize its negative environmental effects while encouraging others to do the same.
CompensationAytzim is an all-volunteer organization. All Aytzim positions, board members and volunteers are not compensated for their services in any way. Aytzim may choose to compensate individuals on a per-project basis, but only on the approval of a majority of the board.

Ethics Officers / Reporting ViolationsThe Aytzim president and chairperson of the Board of Directors shall be designated as the organization’s Ethics Officers. The Ethics Officers shall:
All Aytzim positions, board members, staff and volunteers are obligated to report violations of the code of ethics. Violations may be reported to a direct supervisor, the president and chairperson of the board of directors. The board of directors shall decide consequences of ethics violations. There shall not be any action brought against the person(s) who report ethics violations in good faith.
Adherence to Laws and International Anti-TerrorismAytzim is based in New York and seeks to comply with all applicable laws that cover its jurisdiction, including all statutes, executive orders and regulations restricting or prohibiting U.S. persons from engaging in transactions and dealings with countries, entities or individuals subject to economic sanctions administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control.
